Excellent hotel, lovey food. Evening buffet excellent value.

Pros: Quiet location no busy so plenty of sun beds. Nice pools and beach.

Cons: Lack of safe pedestrian access to Mall opposite. I know everyone drives but a set of steps near crossing would be a bonus.

Andaz Dubai The Palm, by Hyatt, where professional style meets personal essence.

Pros: Located at Jumeirah Palm, the hotel is situated about 30 minutes away from several of Dubai's attractions. Uber can be expensive; use the electric option, or have the hotel arrange a taxi for you. The breakfast spread is impressive, although omelettes could be prepared the traditional way instead of being served open. Staff are very attentive and helpful. The housekeeping team is great, and kept the suite neat and tidy at all times. The doormen were fantastic, bidding you enthusiastic farewells in the morning, and welcoming you back warmly in the evenings.

Cons: At breakfast the turkey strips do not make up for bacon, so give it a miss. I found the practice of swopping out beef sausages with chicken sausages on alternate days quite annoying. The hotel does prepare the beef sausages if requested, but it takes up to 15 minutes. The dinner buffet is touted as an international buffet, however, this is not impressive given the steep prices asked. Lay off the booze unless you have the money; the prices asked for wine and beer is just ridiculous. In pictures it appears that the swimming pool and beach are just a few metres from the hotel. In reality, it is quite a hike to get to the swimming pool and beach. Once there, both the pool and the beach are fabulous.

Pros: Everything was great.The location is very central, the ambience and service was very good, breakfast was superb.The infinity pool is very nice and overlooks the beach and ocean. Nice restaurant next to the pool with great views.
