Delano Dubai at Bluewaters

Exceptional.

Pros: We loved everything at the hotel. Food was amazing for breakfast, location was good (shopping mall and a lot of restaurants near by), comfort. Really exclusive.

Best property for a Private beach and Best Pool for Families, 5 STARs

Pros: We loved the peaceful and the family setting of the hotel. The location is the best place to be in Dubai for a peaceful stay in the posh locality of the Blue Waters. The play area at the connected hotel Banyan tree was fabulous. Overall the stay was very comfortable with my Toddler!

Cons: The rooms show a bit of age, with bruised corners & carpets looking dull and over used. There was a wedding on property and the entire day we weren't able to use the private beach access. The pathway besides the sea was filled with trucks and waste material, leaving us the 2nd day of our stay to explore the same. The washroom sanitary fittings have gotten dark and stained and need refurbishment.

Sensational!

Pros: We had such a lovely time and I just wanted to mention how attentive all of the pool staff were throughout our visit. They were always friendly, helpful, and quick to check in, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and really well looked after. A special shoutout as well to the lifeguards, who were incredibly attentive and professional at all times. It was really reassuring to see how focused they were, while still being approachable and kind. And lastly, a big special mention to Ronnie at Rose Bar — the drinks were absolutely incredible and Ronnie made the experience even better with such great service and a lovely, welcoming attitude. It honestly made our evenings feel extra special. Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Great property, great pool and beach. Amazing staff. Will come back for sure. 10/10

Pros: A very nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Good service and great breakfast

We had a fabulous stay, the room was gorgeous and the decor of the hotel is stunning.

Pros: The hotel is beautifully designed and we loved our room. We were even upgraded to a suite. The breakfast each morning was fabulous. The pool and private beach were also stunning and very well equipped.

Cons: I think the only thing that could be improved is the speed of service on the beach. Possibly there are too many beds for the number of servers and therefore it sometimes took a long time to place an order for a drink/ food. Otherwise, maybe having QR codes to be able to order to your bed would be a great idea. Overall the staff that did serve us were great but very busy. Also whilst on the beach, the sound of the sky diving plane overhead is quite irritating as it's almost every half an hour but nothing can be done with that I assume.

Great Christmas holiday destination

Pros: Great Pool area, beautiful interior design, staff was extremely friendly. Great breakfast and dinner options at various restaurants. Everything felt very easy going and relaxing. Spa at Banyan Tree was excellent.

Pros: Staff Special thanks to Mr.Tariq as he was very polite and understanding. Your staff made our stays amazing. Definitely coming back

Great family vacation

Pros: The location is great if you like the beach (which we did and was great). The hotel itself nicely designed but the best thing about it is the staff. Everyone so kind and professional even though they have been opened just a bit over a year. Nice breakfast, food options on the pool and beach very good and several very nice restaurants for dinner at the hotel but also the sister hotel next door. Great for families with small children as well (we were there woth friends and a total of 3 kids from 13 months to 4 years old and they all loved it), but also seems great for couples without kids or single people. Would definitely return.

Cons: Bathroom fixtures look like they’ve been in use for a decade and they’ve actually been in use for just over a year. It’s a shame because it ruins what would otherwise be a spotless review. But we didn’t care that much and probably most won’t either.

Delightful Delano - thank you!

Pros: It felt like a superior resort, in the heart of Dubai! It has everything you need for a relaxing break - beach, pool, fantastic restaurants and bar, and generally all of the facilities were of a high quality and the service was worthy of a 5* rating. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Delano to anyone and everyone!

Cons: The only one very small gripe, was service at breakfast was a little hectic whilst I appreciate it was always busy during 9 to 10, I think they could have helped their cause by having staff on set tasks to allow it run more smoothly.
