Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel

Excellent value for money

Pros: Everything was excellent Location staff facilities

A reasonable hotel with some very good elements but areas to improve.

Pros: Great location, very clean & the staff were fantastic on the whole

Cons: The bathroom in our room was very small, once you were inside it was difficult to shut the door. Breakfast is ok, it’s served 7-11 but from 9 onwards it’s really busy so expect to wait for a table. It’s a buffet breakfast with reasonable choice but again your lining up for your food for quite a while I must say the waiting staff let the hotel down. They sort your drinks but were very slow and trying to get their attention in the first place was difficult. Put it like this I paid for 7 nights bed & breakfast I gave up on the breakfast after day 3 and went to the shopping mall opposite the hotel where there was lots of choice and great service.

Great stay at Dukes

Pros: Location is perfect, private beach and nice pool, a bit more far from main promenade, therefore quiet, which we appreciated. Staff was very polite and helpful, clean everywhere. Very comfortable beds. We were second time in this hotel and I would return again.

Cons: Some places a bit dated (stains on furnuture innthe restaurant outside sitting, signs for light are hardly readable). We ordered two rooms- one was ready on time, but another one prepared later, only around 5 pm instead of 3.

Relaxing time at Palm Jumeirah

Pros: Enjoyed the stay, good views from the room. Expensive, however during the peak season, all the hotels in Palm Jumeirah are expensive.

Pros: The front desk manager had offered a really warm welcome and that set the tone for the trip. Really nice

Everything was perfect

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this stunning hotel. The facilities are truly beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. A heartfelt thanks to Bijay, who was absolutely wonderful—so caring, attentive, and always there to make sure everything was perfect. His kindness and dedication made our stay truly special. Many thanks to the whole team for such a memorable experience. We look forward to coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay!

Pros: Lovely stay, clean rooms, good food. Heated pool indoors was a treat.

Cons: The outdoor pool was a little cold.

Pros: Reception ok, concierge excellent (Bijay) helped with taxis very well. Issue with room cleanliness on arrival dealt with professionally

Nice resort, a bit outdated. Very good beach.

Pros: Very good location next to the mall, private beach. Half board available. We loved the executive lounge.

Cons: The hotel facilities are somewhat outdated. Before arrival I specifically verified sofa bed availability at our suite and received no response via message. Booked suite with a sofa bed. On arrival it turned out the sofa was not a bed. However, we were provided with an extra bed after some hassle.

Fantastic stay at Palm Jumeirah

Pros: We are just back from our second stay in Dukes. It has been as great as our first time back in 2019. The facilities, the staff, the food (especially the deserts, unfortunately haha), room size - it's all superb! An additional benefit is Palm Jumeirah Mall erected right across the road: a place to eat, to shop and buy groceries & gifts.

Cons: There are two minor things which I'd like to mention. One is the location at Jumeirah Palm. Transport accessibility is average and the taxi is the most common transportation mode to/from the hotel. Another one was the sofa offered to our 9 yo and 13 yo kids. Seems like they are too big for that option already and proper (even single) beds would be more appropriate. We managed fine however please keep in mind if you're reading this review and consider 1-bedroom apartment.
