Grand Hyatt Dubai Resort & Waterpark

Lovely room. Great for business rather than a holiday.

Pros: Lovely spacious king size room. Excellent facilities. Great swimming pool and waterpark. Good breakfast.

Cons: Hotel caters more for those on a business trip due to the convention facilities rather than those looking for a relaxing time by the pool.

Pros: Authentic Arabic style around reception area and spicy’s scent throughout the hotel; the room window was facing the water park and pools. And the boys loved watching the train passing on the bridge. We were at 11th floor. The room was very clean and house keepers prepared the rooms daily to the spec. The boys loved water parks and the pool area with artificial waves. We went for the half board option and it was the best option. The buffet allowed the boys to try variety of food to decide what they liked best. I liked the gym and steam room with sauna. Managed to exercise 3 times which was positive. I liked the fact that we could walk to local supermarket 19 minutes after dinner. Having a nice summer evening walk to burn the calories after the dinner and to see the products and meet with the locals and buy Dubai chocolate for the gift to bring home.

Cons: misunderstanding at arrival. In Jan 2026 agreed for the family room with 2 double king beds. Unfortunately what I was offered and agreed in January, was not saved on the system and we were put back to original room I booked a year ago.

Pros: The staff are very welcoming. The new waterpark is amazing. And the foods are excellent.

Cons: Nothing.

Quality and service you expect of a Grand Hyatt

Pros: Great pool area, spa and gym. Free access to the water park.

Cons: Water park(open to the public) impinging on the guest enjoyment of the adjacent pool. Restaurants all virtually empty. There are about 7 or 8 separate outlets all with just a few people. Half the number and the place might have some atmosphere.
